Temporary staffing marketplace

Challenge

The client wanted one platform where companies find and book temporary workers, staffing agencies manage their talent, and workers log their hours, replacing separate tools, emails and static CV lists.

What we built

  • Company web app: talent search, booking pipeline, timesheet approval, a shortlist of trusted workers.
  • Agency web app: CV upload that turns a PDF into a structured worker profile, calendar, revenue and invoice dashboard.
  • Mobile apps for companies, agencies and workers: bookings, shift details, timesheet submission, notifications.
  • Admin console, role-based access and data separation between agencies and companies.
  • After launch: team permissions, availability logic, improved search and matching, payment and partner-referral modules.
  • German rail-construction contractor
  • Existing system, extended
  • Web + mobile + client portal

Site reports to approved timesheets

Challenge

About 70 site reports a week across some 10 projects were compiled by hand into Excel. Night, Sunday and holiday surcharges were calculated manually, and contracts and timesheets went to clients by email.

What we built

  • Contract setup with versioned rate cards and surcharge rules, including combined night/Sunday and night/holiday rates.
  • Mobile daily report for site supervisors: hours, breaks, notes and photos.
  • Automatic monthly timesheet export to Excel, with travel and hotel costs added per week.
  • Client portal: projects, reports and documents in one place, weekly approval of reports, PDF and Excel download.
  • Before the portal, a bilingual specification with traceable requirements, a clickable prototype and a review of German data-protection and record-keeping rules.
  • Packaged in Docker for the client's own server.

Short-drama streaming apps

Challenge

Short vertical dramas are a fast-moving mobile format. Viewers expect a swipeable feed, instant resume and a catalogue sorted by mood and trope. The client wanted to launch more than one brand and compare positioning and revenue models side by side.

What we built

  • Full-screen vertical episode feed: swipe to the next episode or start any series from episode 1.
  • Onboarding where new users pick favourite categories, which the feed uses to suggest series.
  • Browsing by genre and trope, with Hot, New and Popular tabs.
  • Search with history and trending terms; series pages with synopsis, episode list, cast and similar titles.
  • Library with saved series, watch history and progress per series; player with speed control and episode jump.
  • Two brands on Google Play: one focused on romance and fantasy series, one with a wider genre range and in-app advertising.
  • UK entertainment-tech publisher
  • New build
  • iPhone, Mac, Vision Pro

Private PDF toolkit for iPhone

Challenge

Many PDF apps require an account or upload documents to a server. People handling contracts, IDs and invoices prefer to keep those files on their own device. The client wanted one small app for everyday PDF tasks that never sends files off the phone.

What we built

  • Conversion between PDF and Word, Excel, PowerPoint and images.
  • Document scanning with edge detection, multi-page capture and text recognition, exported as searchable PDF.
  • Editing and signing: highlight, draw, add text, sign with Apple Pencil, add stamps.
  • File tools: compress, merge, split, rotate, password-protect, watermark, number pages, extract images.
  • All processing runs on the device with no account; the App Store privacy label reads "Data Not Collected".
  • Interface in 10 languages; one build runs on iPhone, Apple-silicon Mac and Vision Pro.
